Power for Morgan’s 5th generation Aero 8 came from a BMW-sourced 4.8 litre V-8 engine, capable of 367bhp and 370 foot-pounds of torque, which by modern standards may seem unremarkable. However, when paired to a bonded aluminium chassis that resulted in a curb weight of just 1,180 kg, the performance was anything but: 0-100km/h in roughly 4.5 seconds and a top speed in excess of 273km/h. Without question, the prettiest car the Morgan factory has ever produced and with a power plant to pack a suitable punch too, the Morgan Aero 8 has been heralded as one of the best-looking British cars ever made – and rightly so. Powered by a 4.8 BMW V8 with an automatic gearbox, these rare machines are highly sought-after and rarely come to market – not least with specifications like this car.

Registered new on 6th March 2019, this wonderful two owner example is presented in exceptional condition throughout, having covered just 2,032 miles from new. Remarkably, it was never driven by its first owner, who retained the car until 2023 having covered a mere 104 miles. These miles were accumulated solely by Morgan during delivery of the vehicle. Having formed part of the first owner’s significant private collection of performance cars, the Morgan changed hands in 2023 and today has covered just 2,032 miles from new, making it surely one of the lowest-mileage examples in existence. Finished in the desirable combination of metallic blue paintwork with a dark blue hood over a cream leather interior, the car presents beautifully. The BMW V8 engine is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox, providing a truly engaging driving experience.

The Morgan is offered with a history file containing the current UK registration document, all relevant Morgan booklets, previous Mot records, its cherished registration number MM19 MMM, and an Mot valid until May 2026. In our opinion, this represents the holy grail of Morgan ownership.
