Registered on 3^rd October 1997 this immaculate one family owned 840Ci Sport was purchased new via L&C Tunbridge Wells, BMW main dealer. Presented in Arctic silver coachwork over a light silver-grey leather interior the 840 was specified new with desirable options such as cross spoke alloy wheels, tinted screens, an electric rear blind and royal “luxury” mats. The BMW has formed part of the owners private collection ever since and has been used and exercised occasionally throughout its life. Passed down to the original owners son in 2013 the BMW has continued to be dry stored in the collection. With the odometer now showing just 11,910 miles from new it is offered in time warp condition, the paintwork is presented in excellent order with no blemishes to note and the interior is immaculate, so too is the engine bay and underside of the car. Maintained throughout its life the 840 has more recently been looked after by BMW specialists BMR Performance Ltd, of West Sussex, with the most recent service and maintenance undertaken in September 2025 costing £652. Accompanying the 840 is a sizeable history file including its original sales invoice from L&C Tunbridge Wells BMW, its original brochure, the original book pack with all books and service booklet with relevant stamps, many Mot test certificates, various sundry bills and service invoices, a current Mot with no advisories, valid until 1^st October 2026, and its UK registration document. Also present is the original and unused tool kit, and BMW glove box torch. Offered in arguably the most desirable specification and colour combination this example must be the best available and would be at home in any serious collection.
