This wonderfully presented example was supplied new by Maranello Sales, Egham and subsequently sold to its first owner on 19th September 1990. The Ferrari archive confirms that the Testarossa is a matching numbers example and is presented in its original colour of Argento Silver (one of four righthand drive examples delivered new in this colour).
Mechanically the car has been maintained regardless of cost with the most recent work completed by renowned Ferrari specialists, SMDG in June 2018 to the tune of over £11,000. Works carried out included a full major service including new cambelts, a new clutch, new brakes, new tyres, a brand-new stainless-steel exhaust system and an air conditioning overhaul. Presented in very good order throughout, the Argento paintwork is in excellent condition as is the Bordeaux Red leather trim and seats which present very nicely. Showing a mere 30,866 miles on the odometer, the Testarossa starts and runs as it should and is reported to drive very well indeed.
The comprehensive history file that accompanies the car includes the original Ferrari wallet with original booklets, many MoT test certificates dating back to 1992, a comprehensive service record, sundry invoices and the original factory order forms and letters from the original supplying Ferrari dealer. Also supplied is the original Ferrari toolkit and jack, two sets of keys and a valid MoT test certificate. This beautifully presented example offered in a very rare colour combination is one of the best we have seen; It is reported that the Testarossa drives wonderfully and is ready to be used and enjoyed by a new custodian.
