Purchased by the most recent owner in 2018 the Jaguar has formed part of his significant private collection ever since. Fastidious about the cars in his collection, he had JC Specialists maintain and service the E-Type throughout his tenure. In August 2024 this stunning Jaguar was subject of an extensive bare metal respray to an excellent standard, the work was documented via 400 photos which can be seen in the history file. Also treated to a new dark blue hood and hood cover and fitted with uprated SU carburettors and a desirable wooden Moto-Lita steering wheel the E-Type drives very well indeed and looks superb! The paintwork is in excellent condition throughout as to are the interior and hood with no blemishes to note. The chrome work is also in very good condition and retains a deep shine all round including the gleaming wire wheels. Recently fitted with a set of radial tyres showing plenty of tread the E-Type has covered 83,966 miles from new and is ready to be enjoyed immediately. Offered with a history file including over 400 photos of the bare metal respray, many maintenance and service bills totalling over £8,000 including an annual service in June 2023, and a new windscreen in October 2024, also present are many old Mot records, its Jaguar Heritage Certificate, and its current UK registration document.
