Delivered new to Wuppertal, Germany this well presented matching numbers, left hand drive, automatic, 230SL is offered in its original colour combination of Dark Green (code 268) over a Cognac leather interior with brown carpets (code 216). The Pagoda was later imported to Milan, Italy in 1999 where it resided until 2014 when it was imported to the UK. Purchased by its most recent private keeper in 2015 the 230SL has been maintained by Mercedes specialists since, with works undertaken by Roger Edwards and more recently by PKF Engineering with bills including £1,159 spent in 2017, a further £947 in 2018, and its most recent service undertaken in 2022 costing £494. Also benefitting from a recent engine tune and check over the Pagoda is in very good running condition. Showing few minor blemishes the 230SL is a very usable example and is in good condition throughout. The history file that accompanies the car includes various old Mot test certificates, many maintenance invoices with over £4,650 spent since 2014, the old Italian registration document, a photocopy of the original data card, old photos, and its current UK registration document.
