Access to our West London storage facility is by number plate recognition. The site is discreet and secure, with controlled entry and continuous CCTV coverage at all access points, monitored by the head office.
Clients benefit from unrestricted access to their vehicles, 24 hours a day. There is no requirement to book in advance or notify us when visiting or returning a vehicle to its designated space, allowing complete freedom to come and go as you please.
Yes. Battery conditioners may be connected if requested at the enquiry stage. All devices must be CE certified or from a recognised manufacturer. Please note that we are unable to support charging for hybrid or fully electric vehicles.
Professional cleaning and detailing services can be organised during the storage period. To arrange this, please contact Storage@godins.co.uk These services are provided at an additional cost.
Yes. As each bay is individually allocated, you may alternate vehicles as required, which many of our clients choose to do. We simply ask that registration details for all vehicles using the space are provided in advance.
For security and safety reasons, mechanical work is not permitted within the facility. If your vehicle needs to be transported off-site by a third party, this can be coordinated in advance.
Vehicle insurance remains the responsibility of the owner. All vehicles must be insured with a reputable UK insurer to at least third-party cover. Insurers may find it helpful to know that the facility is access-controlled, and staffed by on-site security 24/7.
Owners are responsible for ensuring adequate insurance cover. If your insurer requests technical information relating to fire protection, sprinkler systems, or ventilation, we are happy to supply this upon request.
A minimum of one month’s written notice is required to vacate your storage space. Once received, we will confirm your contract end date and outline the departure process.
Yes, the facility is located within the Ultra Low Emission Zone. ULEZ charges apply only when a vehicle is driven within the zone; no charge is incurred while the vehicle remains in storage. We recommend checking your vehicle’s eligibility and setting up a TfL account to manage any applicable charges. Certain vehicles, including historic and disabled vehicles, may qualify for exemptions.
